We are still around and we have grown faster than any comparable business in our sector: from 5 to 60 employees, from 0 to 3 locations, from nothing to over 5 million euro annual turnover. Only 10% of the German start-ups have a higher sales volume!

Product Information Management (PIM) – an organizational core task?

It’s no secret that, quite often, the first step to change internal processes is to seek technical solutions. That’s not necessarily wrong, since standard software packages often provide, in mature market segments, valuable information about how to model processes based upon market-proven implementations.

Product data processes (PDP), ranging from master data management (from product design and supplier onboarding), to category and product management and to target group specific customer approaches through different channels, are usually highly complex and isolated processes within individual departments of process organizations. Standardization of process and workflow models and of product data management across all departments is a major issue for many companies. Active change management, involvement of all concerned departments and individual and benefit-oriented communication are the key to this challenge. A successful project organization takes this issue into account right from the start by allocating adequate human and financial resources. Continue reading

October 1, 2013 is now the official birthday of parsionate.

When we decided – some time ago – to set up a company together, for most of us it was more of a dream than a concrete plan.
