4 years of parsionate
After only four years, parsionate is now part of the approximately 4% of the German companies that have a turnover of over 5 million euros and the 2% with more than 50 employees.
In his book, “Zero to One”, the famous US entrepreneur Peter Thiel writes: “Startups operate on the principle that you need to work with other people to get stuff done. Positively defined, a startup is the largest group of people you can convince of a plan to build a different future. A new company’s most important strength is new thinking: even more important than nimbleness.”
What were the thoughts and goals that brought us, the founders, together in 2013? Of course we saw a market opportunity and a chance of earning money. And we shared a common understanding of how we wanted to achieve it and a business plan. But is this enough to found a company and to promise to spend “the best years” together? Of course not! Even though we did not write everything down in detail – just like our financial plan – there was a common understanding of how we would work together and how we wanted to persuade our customers of our vision. We also made a commitment to respect what are, in our view, fundamental values: mutual respect, transparency, working in collaboration and partnership, understanding work as a meaningful part of our lives, achieving an effective balance between work and private life, but also striving for excellence and professionalism.
With our successful management buyout in May 2017, we have set the stage for further growth. Everyone, even our customers, sense that a new chapter has begun. Now it is up to us to make the best out of our partners’ trust, the investment and, above all, of our ideas and values.
Our market is huge! European enterprise customers ask us to support them with the implementation of key digitization projects. It’s in our hands now to continue the success story!
Thank you for four great years! Let’s rock!
