Digitization on the rush

Working remotely on projects has long been an integral part of parsionate's everyday life. Hence, we were able to considerably reduce – virtually overnight - social interaction between people while, at the same time, ensuring that project work for our customers was not hampered. At parsionate, working from home is generally possible for every employee and everyone is equipped with the necessary infrastructure. There are exceptions, however: tasks that require us to be on site at our customers' premises. Because not all projects are on hold. In fact, many of our clients have decided to push their digitalization with enhanced energy. Of course, retailers and manufacturers are limited in their business processes by the increased security measures. Yet, digitisation projects are still moving forward with the support of parsionate’s experts.

It is essential now to take a broader view to reassess, analyze and upgrade workflows, business models and the structure of the company and to make it fit for the future. A pandemic will certainly never "surprise" us in the same way again. Some of our existing clients have decided to cut back, stop or at least postpone projects in order to gain a comprehensive overview. After all, it is particularly important at this stage to identify the fundamental and business-critical areas and give these issues top priority.

Many of our clients are setting the pace in these areas: analyzing, optimizing and doing everything to emerge stronger from the prevailing uncertainty. Our project managers are constantly coordinating further cooperation (including increasing remote activities, online workshops with project participants, etc.) with our clients. After all, the top priority for all of us is to ensure the smooth operation of our company and thus the strategic and technology-based projects of our clients. We support them in consolidating their success factors in data management and e-commerce - which makes a big difference, especially now.

Each of us also bears personal responsibility in this difficult situation. Employees rightly expect leadership in these troubled times, because clear decisions and their consistent implementation are especially important in difficult situations.

Which immediate digital measures must be implemented right now? What is needed in the midterm, e.g. in two or more months?
