RS Media Group AG expands with Asian Joint Venture

The RS:gsd Marketing Service Limited is a joint venture with gsd International, one of the leading service providers in marketing services in the Asian region. Apart from classical production services, like image processing, prepress and DTP, content production for all electronic channels will be another focus of the new company.

“The expertise of our newly acquired colleagues perfectly supports our strategic direction to become the leading partner for omnichannel platforms in Europe” said Antonius Huerkamp, CEO of the RS Media Group. “Thereby we extend the depth of our production services significantly and we are able to yield the entire range of marketing services for the needs of our customers. Especially in the e-commerce business we increasingly require high-quality visual material, high-resolution and perfect edited images which fascinate the consumer – online and offline.” The 25 employees in Phuket are already involved in the production processes of several leading traders since May this year. “The production runs highly integrated and smoothly”, according to Mr. Huerkamp. “Our shift work in the new company not only gives us as a provider an advantage on the market but first of all it improves our customers’ time to market. Across our locations we are now able to produce almost around the clock. For our German customers, for example, we can now deliver orders which we got in the evening just in the morning of the next day when they start to work.” Around 100 employees will be operating in the joint venture by the end of the year.

Due to this collaboration with gsd the joint venture has access to 400 employees from the locations Bangkok, Phuket und Phnom Penh. Thereby, RS:gsd is able to implement orders with high volume in short time intervals. Especially the e-commerce campaigns will be benefitting from that.
