Parsionate supported Varo in the implementation of a central solution for product information management. The result: 70% less effort in product data maintenance and a faster market launch of new products.

Varo is one of the leading companies in the global distribution of power tools, garden tools, hand tools and accessories in Europe. Headquartered in Lier, Belgium, the company also sells safety equipment, work lights, pumps and high-pressure cleaners as well as household and lifestyle products. With over 60 years of experience and around 140 employees, Varo is active in more than 22 countries, mainly in Europe and Asia.

As an international tool distributor, Varo has to manage an enormous amount of product data, images and translations based on over 130 product groups and make them available on internal and external channels such as company websites, marketplaces and catalogs. Without a central repository, this was previously tedious, error-prone and time-consuming.

The aim was therefore to introduce Contentserv, a PIM system that automates and standardizes the processes in order to continuously control the quality of the product content and bring it to market without delays. And it has succeeded:
